Onwards in all directions

I headed to the station in MK to travel south to London in order to change stations and then travel north to Newcastle. When walking from Euston to Kings Cross (it's only one stop on the Tube and not worth the aggravation) one passes the front of St Pancras. I was waiting for the traffic lights to change and noticed this elaborate coat of arms on the extreme SW corner of the station building. This bit of it is probably the hotel more than the station, originally the Midland Grand. I assumed the inscription would be in Latin so thought I'd take a photo and try to translate it later. Turned out that no translation was required.

Later on I joined colleagues for a get-together in Gateshead before eventually heading back to Edinburgh and a delicious pint of Jarl in the Guildford Arms.
