Wow, Wow And Wow Again

What a touching spectacular has just been performed at the opening ceremony of the 2018 South Korean Winter Olympic Games. My blip is of my tv showing the South Korean flag, with its Ying and Yang symbol, being carried by South Korean athletes.

Now I know since having that awful bout of flu last month that I've been extra sensitive, but the beginning sequence of the opening ceremony reduced me to floods of tears. I had just recovered when the most beautiful rendition of John Lennon's 'Imagine' began. That was it, off I went again, eyes streaming, at just the thought that the impossible might happen one day and 'the World will live as one.'.

You'll be pleased to hear there was one part of the ceremony that made me smile, thanks to Tonga, see extra.
