An early Valentine...

Dear Diary,

I had a little fun this morning with this image.  I noticed that after our snowstorm the birds had created a big heart shape behind the house with all their hopping around.  I couldn't resist coloring it in.  An early Valentine from the birds! 

Having fun with photography wasn't on my radar back when I started up again making photographs back in 2005.  I was deadly serious in all aspects of the medium then.  Now, it is all about fun.  Each day is a new discovery, something wonderful to look at, to think about.  Some trigger memories, some deeper thoughts but sometimes it is just for fun.  Today is just such a day!
