That time of year

I’m seeing lots of hawk pairs (today saw 2 pairs together, which was a first) who seem to be showing some mating behavior (not the actual mating, more like the lead up). Not that I’m opposed to seeing the actual mating, but note to self, those sentiments should not be shared with strangers while on my lunch walk. (Although on the other hand, I’m not very good with the chitter chatter and that may come in handy).
