This new sculpture has recently appeared in the centre of Leeds; this evening it was pissing it down so I didn't stop for a proper look.

Quite a 'performance-heavy' day for me today, lots of students for lab inductions and training so essentially me talking at them and hoping the essentials are absorbed.  Finding this stuff very difficult at the moment; performance is challenging.  It seems that to play someone else you have to have a solid grounding in yourself, which doesn't make much sense to me.  I have a tame (retired) drama teacher friend who I should interrogate on the subject.
