Bleak

So different to yesterday's 'blue sky in the brook' blip and absolutely freezing cold in the wind.

I forced myself out for a walk but didn't even bother to take my main camera, just my compact in my pocket.......and that only came out because I heard the geese coming long before I saw them.
I did briefly stop to take some photos of the daffs that I blipped a couple of days ago but they didn't look good against the grey sky and the sharp overnight frost has taken it's toll on them, making them look a bit tatty, so a grey, grim, bare field and trees it is then.........looking forward to warmer days :-)

I was going to call this ' The Bleak Mid-Winter' but I couldn't bear the thought that we're only half way through ( just over)..........alternatively  ' glass half full' .....only 5 and a half weeks to go until Spring  ;-))
