Paper fancies

This flower shop does the most remarkable window displays. The two mannequins here were both dressed in paper, even the kilt. To one side, but not easily photographed, was a translucent piano. The legs of which were created from a series of crystal vases glued together, end to end.
This window display fascinates me, because those cut crystal vases and jelly dishes are a recurrent and key feature in whatever flight of fancy is depicted.
The artistry and ingenuity is deeply impressive. On a few occasions, I have entered the shop to share my sheer enjoyment of their window, but they are peculiarly prickly about it. Talk about feeling like a bull in a china shop.
Maybe I should buy some flowers next time too.
