Mr Cardinal and his lady
It has been a very snowy day here- probably 8 inches or so of very wet snow and at times stuff that turned to ice. The good news was it brought the birds out . 6 cardinals , 19 juncos and a few sparrows visited the feeders this afternoon before dark. I was able to sneak out with the camera at 5 PM and not scare them all off. The down side of course being it was 5 PM and rather dim. That's what a 640 ISO is for.! The lady is in extras as she is not entirely in focus ( more open lens so I could try to get the shorter speed up) but also she was moving that tail a little . '
I am still concerned about the lack of chickadees and the usual birds at the feeder- ? if the 19 juncos are so dominant they are going elsewhere???
