Spring must be here

Our weekly lunchtime concert programme recommenced today after the winter break. James Gaughan, an accomplished baritone from York, sang songs written to some of the best of English poetry. He was accompanied beautifully by Matthew Lazenby. Barbara Pickerill, front-of-house chief for Allegro Appassionato, is suitably enthusiastic in thanking the performers.
