Ship off Barrow in Furness
The tides have been exceptional high these last two days. Looking out over the Walney Channel, this ship reminded me of the USS Merrimack which was in action in the USA Civil War in 1862.
When it was spun round tail to tail it produced a fascinating image of an innovative war ship that might have been built in Barrow's ship yards in the same era.
