And, as blipped a short while back, I have already had my first mince pie of the season.

I have already decided what I am going to serve up for Christmas lunch, though who gets to eat it is another matter. Those finer points have not been finalised.

I can imagine some of you might at this point be thinking, oh no, not Christmas yet.
I'm normally right with you there on that one.

So what I want to know is, why am I already thinking about these things and getting mentally prepared?

You're looking at someone who often finds most of the Christmas planning taking place quite near to Christmas itself.
And I mean most of it and VERY near to Christmas!

Are all those Jamie Oliver cookbooks and Christmas magazines finally starting to take effect.
