Rural South Stafford....
...is right on the fringe of the urban, industrial Black Country.
On my drive in I choose to skirt around all the busy main roads and avoid Wolverhampton at all costs. I may add a couple of miles to the journey but at least the car keeps moving and the scenery is a bit prettier.
It was -5 this morning as I drove towards Enville common and I was in two minds whether to stop and get out the car for a photograph but I did briefly.
I've never seen this field with any kind of animal in it before so I was quite surprised to see a lot of sheep looking back at me as I stood on the verge.
