The best keyhole ever?

This was the amazing square spiral keyhole in the front door of our hotel in Nîmes last week.
It was about two inches tall. I asked the owner if I could see the key, but unfortunately, it's been lost for a long time. (It probably wore a hole in the owner's pocket and fell through.) Shame, eh? That would have been quite a sight.
