Lone Survivor

When I walk through Arraial at Sunrise, the only lights still lit in the many restaurants around town are the beer fridges. After a long night of partying, they are the only ones still standing. Their light creates an eerie and, at the same time, peaceful atmosphere. I'm thinking of doing a series on these heroes of the night, who, after knocking out dozens or hundreds of guests, look as fresh as ever.

Thank you all for the many, many words of support and encouragement for our daughter. The second day at school went easier. There were still some tears to dry, but her usual smile began to light up her face again. The school is supporting her in every imaginable way, and we're very thankful for that.
