Spring has sprung...early!

Spring wildflowers are first to show themselves along the Catherine Creek Trail. These Grass Widows (Olsynium douglasii) often appear before the grass, hence their name. They are a delightful harbinger of spring in the Columbia River Gorge...although this year they are a full month early!
