Calvari Steps Pollensa

Spent the morning in the lovely town of Pollensa and walked up all 365 of the Calvari Steps to the chapel at the top. This is the view back down to the town from about two-thirds of the way up.

Apparently, in days of yore, condemned criminals were made to walk all the way up the steps to their execution on the gallows* at the top of the hill, which must have spoilt their enjoyment of the walk and the views somewhat.
