The end to a bright day. I was at the Assembly Rooms on George Street for the latest instalment of my Aurora course, which is all about empowering women for leadership in higher education. Fittingly, today sees the 100th hundredth anniversary of (some) women in Britain getting the vote.

Despite the freezing cold and the sprinkling of snow it feels like snow might gradually be on its way.
