Bed time

We had a bit of snow today, so CyclopsJnr went to nursery in the buggy. It was gone by home time.

After, CyclopsJnr was very keen to be going swimming and had told his teachers he was doing this. Well you'll recall MrsCyclops left the swimming kit on his peg after he didn't fancy if yesterday... no plans to swim today... but ah what's the harm.

It was cold! We only managed 40 mins. But fun. CyclopsJnr swims well underwater near the surface but doesn't / can't (?) lift his head out. So his lung capacity limits how far he can go. Not sure how to encourage him upwards. He's quite happy anyway. Unaided he can leap in (out of his depth), turn around, swim to the side and climb out. He likes to do that... over and over and over.

When cyclops came home we played the shopping list game together and had a happy bath time. CyclopsJnr was a right chatterbox, on top form. Took a while to settle down due to the chat he needed to get out but at least it was all good natured.
