Nice gaff

Not making much of an effort with my photo today. It was back to grey and snowing today - gently all day. Probably about 3-4 cms has come down which is enough to fresh things up (and hide the ice away so it can surprise you).

My destination this evening was the British Ambassador's residence. Very nice. An event on Brexit. Not so nice. A bit of a busman's holiday for me. The Ambassador is doing a generally good job with Olly Robbins' talking points. I assume it is he who provides them because in truth he seems to be running the whole nightmare that it is UK policy on the EU negotiations right now. Not everyone there was quite so discreet though....

Apart from that, I pressed on, attended a seminar on linguistics and spent a bit of time in the gym.

It's February in Helsinki. What do you expect?
