Separation....

Experimenting with Separation today, trying to isolate the subject, in this case, random leaves standing out "from the crowd".
In Camera, HDR Jpeg, using the Lumix G 35-100mm f2.8 lens.
Taken at 35mm (70mm equivalent field of view) f2.8 1/160th iso 250.
The idea is, using a longer focal length you can compress the background, that, coupled with a wide aperture, should make your subject stand out....well, I tried!
I really went to town on the saturation settings in Lightroom - basically increasing orange +100 and decreasing green -100 trying to really make the main subject stand out.... fairly pleased with the results.
