... photo of a robin in the snow until December I hope. We had a light covering of snow this morning but most of it has gone now.
On Winterwatch last week, there was an article about bird brains and it was saying something like this
“The macaw has a brain the size of an unshelled walnut, while the macaque monkey has a brain about the size of a lemon. Nevertheless, the macaw has more neurons in its forebrain -- the portion of the brain associated with intelligent behavior -- than the macaque.” Apparently the neutrons are more densely packed in the brains of birds.
So if someone calls you a bird brain, it’s a compliment really!
