Waiting for the bus -
and enjoying the autumnal village view.
Escaped the house again today. En route to Keighley this morning I had hoped to catch some views of fog in the valleys but it wasn't very spectacular as the sun was already well up.
In the afternoon I headed out for a short walk. With all the bad weather and jobs to do in the house I haven't done much local walking lately, so I headed for the St Ives Estate and Coppice Pond. The colours around the pond weren't that striking though lots of people were out enjoying the mild sunshine. In the village park there were 2 or 3 stunning trees and quite a bit of leaf fall with birds and squirrels rustling around in them pursued by dogs being walked.
Ferrands Park Tree
Just before returning home I saw these two ladies waiting for the bus. They had obviously been to the garden centre as they had some plants in boxes. The trees here are looking almost as lovely as they do in Spring when they are full of blossom.
