Votes For Women !

100 years ago today.

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all the very brave women of The Suffragettes who took on the men that held the power and also the ordinary women who stood up to their husbands. They took on those who thought it was normal for women to be treated so badly.

I have a pack of playing cards with different photos of the many women in the Suffrage Movement, meetings, gatherings and treasured brooches that they would have worn, see extra.

It does seem, even after a century has passed, that some individuals still find it hard to allow complete equality.
