Replacing the roof

They've been working on the roof of the post office building for a few days, and I'm sure they're pleased to have better weather today.  The old roof was cedar shingles and the new one is metal.  
Today is the 53rd anniversary of our first date, and we celebrate this instead of our wedding anniversary.  G mentioned yesterday that we should go for lunch - and I felt bad because for the first time ever, I forgot the anniversary!  We were but babes on that first date....  :)
Extra: I had a lovely smoked salmon lunch with a glass of white, and G had the usual Pasta Puttanesca with red.  I'd already unrolled and eaten part of the salmon before I decided to take a photo.  Delicious!
