Every week we have a fruit and veg box delivered. We have opted for the mixed box which usually contains something unexpected and new for us to try.

This week these little babies arrived. Do you recognise them? I didn't, I had never heard of them.

They are miyagawa satsumas. They are the first citrus fruit of the season and their skin has this distinctive green colour. They are ripe and ready to eat. As you can see the fruit inside is orange and it has a nice balance between sweetness and acidity.
