February, as in Dentistry... (Sorry KangaZu that's the nearest word I could get to rhyme!)


I'd like to thank everyone who have been wishing me well in regards to my tooth abscess. This morning I presented myself to the Urgent Dental Unit at Guys Hospital at 7.30am. I was 9th in line. Registration took place at 8am and the clinic began at 9am.


Being a hospital you have to wait. Wait to be seen for an assessment, then wait for a x-ray, then wait to have these checked. By noon it was decided the tooth needed to come out. I didn't want to lose another tooth but a 3rd opinion had been sort.


Zero hour wasn't to be until 3.45pm so I had a few hours to kick my heels. This image was taken in the grounds of the hospital. I guess in the summer it comes into its own.


The deed is now done and I'm home. The post extraction pain is kicking in and the swelling has subsided a little. Hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight.
