Bring me shoes

I was expecting this photo to be the same time of year as the one I posted of a buzzard here in the extras, but it's much earlier.  He's obviously keen and wasn't letting those snow flurries (you can just see them) stop him homing in on his mate who was waiting in the tree, sizing up his branches!

I met a lady with a couple of dogs who described the day as a film set.  I knew exactly what she meant.  There was no breeze at all and snow flakes have fallen gently out of the sky for most of the day; it was quite surreal.

After we arrived back, I popped on my cycling shoes and had a quick round the block on my bike - gave me a good kick.
