This heron was sitting quietly in a tree until a couple of crows turned up & started harrassing him, so he flew upstream to a quieter spot.

The full sunshine we were promised today didn't materialise - not a glimpse of the sun all day: I haven't known the forecast to be so wrong for a long time. It's been dry, still and mild though, so only disappointing because of what we were led to expect :)
