An Exotic Meal

A day where I struggled to get going. I had a few extra sightings in the garden - or maybe it's just that I spent a lot of the day gawping out the window. A Squirrel didn't stay long enough to have its photo taken, neither did 2 Long-tailed Tits, but this solitary Goldfinch dropped in and ignoring the Nyger and sunflower seeds in the feeders, spent a good 10 minutes feeding on Lavender seeds.
It tried half-heartedly to snow once or twice today, but the forecast is for it to be more successful tomorrow. At least it is staying light for longer in the afternoons.
