Fortifying

I was in the area and had some time on my hands, so went for a look round Craigmillar Castle. 

Maybe it was the time of day, but I had the place pretty much to myself. 

With loads of winding staircases and dark corners, I couldn't help thinking the kids would have enjoyed exploring it at one time. Don't think it'd hold much appeal these days though.
