Sighting

I pruned the rest of my clematis this morning, there were quite a few shooting already. I didn’t spend long outside as it was very cold but this afternoon we ventured out for nearly two hours and the sun was shining all the time and it was most pleasant. We extended our walk by going along the river where I spotted four curlews which were not on the river but on the other side among the areas that flood in the winter.
