60th at 29!

It's finally happened, I've caught Mr F's cold, and feel rotten.
But today we had planned to go to a new restaurant in Saintes, called 29, to celebrate Mr F's 60th Birthday, with all our friends.
Apparently the chef worked with Tom Kerridge, and the food was very good, and reasonable for the menu de jour. I couldn't really taste very much, but we all enjoyed it.
The wind chill was about -3 this morning, but in the restaurant the sun streamed in and we even got a bit too warm sitting by the window!
