‘Lesser tufted’ blackbird

We can’t make out what’s happened to the feathers on her neck, first spotted several days ago she arrived back this morning and fairly oblivious to the blue tits, we could see four at one stage pretending to be bullies.

J and I spent time sat at the table doing some paperwork but our attention wandered out to the birds, the tiny gold crest flitted around too fast for me to catch on the camera, a dunnock, a number of blackbird and chaffinch.
