No Photos today

The camera stayed home today due partly to rain but mainly to leave me handsfree for negotiating those 450 steps.A month's walking on level ground and two full days sitting in the passenger seat rendered the climb up and downhill today somewhat taxing. I had jelly legs long before reaching step 400 and the final stretch uphill after the top of the steps nearly saw me completely done. Very much out of condition!

Nell enjoyed the beach. The surf was up but not a surfer in sight. I think that they like a little sun with their surf.

A rest day today but tomorrow is a long one, only a hairsbreadth under 300 miles. The weather forecast is not too good but nor is it too bad. If we delay by a day things will get worse. At the moment I am promised several inches of snow when we get up on Wednesday, which should make our planned activity that day "quite interesting".

We will be staying on the Aire at Bussière-Poitevine for a day or two. What happens next is yet to be determined. However, I do hope to have plenty of photographs and some Blippable material.
