Back in Sussex

First of our two moving days, a great mish mash of 'stuff' arrived. Who decided we might need cushions off the sofa but no sofa, two dining chairs but no table, no towels or tea towels but copious boxes of ornaments! Eventually we found a kettle, after we'd been down to the local shop who made tea for us, and almost last off the van - a bed! Yay.

We did have to decamp briefly for a break and tea. West Dean not far away. This is one of series of windows and the decorative brickwork and lines of flint. The tea room is really a lovely building and we took our tea outside looking over the downs for 15 minutes peace and quiet. Restores the soul.
