Redwing blackbird

Today the snow continued not too much stayed on the ground until this evening when the cold air returned. This afternoon I was out for my walk in the snow and spotted this Red wing black bird. This bird in the summer time makes the lake his home however in the winter he should be somewhere far to the south. He seems to be doing alright and has survived some very cold weather. Someone else in the the park has nick named him snowball.
