On Guard

Alan, AJ and I decided to tackle the cross country cycle route from Kilmory on Arran's south coast to Lamlash on the east. Very strong head winds made us decide to bale out and complete a loop back, via some very muddy but highly enjoyable descents, to meet Christine at the Laggan Hotel (recommended, as decent lunch and no fuss over some extremely grubby individuals in their bar). En route back we passed a remote farm, where this gaggle was on duty to repel invaders.
