A BIG birthday

A present for a friend who is soon 80 (almost at the top of the hill!!)

As well as the usual rudely-shaped cake, I embroidered this t shirt for him.
The words aren't mine; but the hurried, rather wonky needlework is. 

But, him being a craftsman, he wouldn't want anything "perfect", anyway
