And the Point Is???

I'm giving these babies a break for the weekend.

All the grading is done, for now, so this weekend I'm not going to grade even one student paper. I do need to record some grades, but that's so much easier than reading, commenting, and assigning a grade.

Next week all of my students will arrive in the classroom and spend their morning writing an in-class essay. This is the project that allows them to prove that they know the anatomy of an essay and that they can write a meaningful, quality document.

Week 8 of this college semester concludes now, so we are at the half-way point. That means another 8-weeks and we'll be staring at the Christmas holiday and for me, two months of no grading.
