Date this carpet....!

Joff arrived on Friday evening and he'd already suggested we set to work immediately and had dinner later.

The task was THE LOFT. Something that's been needing big attention for years. I'd already made a start and one spare bedroom had boxes building up ready to dump or recycle.

Well, it's a brilliant transformation up there! Just our personal memorabilia left to go through! College books and toys too precious to give away and D's boxes of collections, stamps, annuals.....But a full-on Saturday and three full car loads to the tip have done wonders.

We found a remnant of carpet from our first lounge which cost all of £75, bought with a £50 gift plus  the rest from us. Not bad! One wall was similarly dazzling!
