The purple Abyss

Our students were involved in the Science Roadshow today. A truck comes with a whole load of science activities and experiments to play around with. The experts get to show some really cool stuff and then the kids go and explore what is all around them.

This is the view over the purple centrifugal table. A ball is rolled onto it by the kids and then they watch what happens next. The kids faces were a picture as they watched it roll down 'the plughole' but my pictures of that weren't that flash and of course have to be sensitive about showing kids faces.
I on the other hand was completely fascinated by the purple and the daylight shining up from beneath through the funnel - so that's my blip for today.

Just on a note - it is frigging freezing here - snow! in bloody October grrrrr
