I snapped my snapdragon flowers today as I'm sure their days are numbered now that temperatures are dipping down near freezing at night. I have always been fascinated by these flowers. The unusal shape, which is supposed to resemble an open mouthed dragon, as well as the amazing colors.
At one time, these beautiful flowers are said to have grown wild in Spain and Italy. Can you imagine an entire field of snapdragons! Wow, that I'd like to see!!
