The road to Inverie

With the horrors of yesterday firmly behind us, today was to be a (long) stroll in the park. The walk from Sourlies Bothy to Inverie took us up and over a high pass at 400 metres where this shot was taken.

Knoydart is an amazing place - the mountains rise directly form the sea to their 1,000 metre elevation and the remote location adds to spectacle of the place.

This was the last day of my friend Daniel's coast-to-coast walk, and what a fitting place to end an epic walk.
