Stairway lights

Ever since Christmas I have become slightly obsessed with my Amazon Alexa. And how I can fully automate my home. I want to live in star trek.

Unfortunately it's not cheap. These Wi-Fi light bulbs cost alot. And as much as I want to shout out "Red Alert" and have a kalxxon sound and all my lights flash red. I don't know if I can justify the cost.

A cheaper alternative has been found. I got some Christmas lights on the cheap wrapped them around the spindles on the stairs and plugged them into a Wi-Fi socket. Much cheaper and Look a nice too.
I can now say "alexa, turn on hallway lights" and my stairs are instantly illuminated.
Switches are for losers!
