Venison Steak

I don't think it stopped raining today :-(

I thought I'd better eat the venison steak I bought on Saturday (it was vacuum packed so would have kept longer). I decided on virtually no seasoning but wrapped it in bacon. I lightly fried the steak in a pan for a minute and then put it under the grill for a few more minutes (mainly to crisp up the bacon a bit). I then made a garlic and onion sauce/gravy which I added some "Potted Venison Hough" to thicken and poured it over the steak, it was yummy.
