The Slough

Wednesday brought a half day of school for the Sugar.  This brings joy to her heart. My girl does love when the school day is short.  

I picked her up from school....ran some errands, and then returned to the school for her conference, and to receive her report card.  Sugar is feeling very proud of her accomplishments this year.  She has worked hard at adjusting to a new school, and a different learning environment.  She had all A's, and it brought a smile to her face.  

After swim, we celebrated with a peach mango smoothie, and headed home for dinner....giggles.....and bedtime.  OH....we stopped by this boat ramp at the slough on the way home to nab a shot of something we see often, but rarely capture.
