Bullfinch

Thank you very much for all the thoughtful stars, hearts and best of all comments the last few days, muchly appreciated.
Yesterday's plan to enjoy the glorious paid off as today has been miserable, snow first turned the world white before rain washed it back to dreary.

We used to live a little over a mile away and we'd see bullfinches most days. Often since we moved here we've commented how odd it is not to see them. Then today sat at my desk finishing off a piece of writing I looked out of the mancave and this fine chap was hopping around, very pleased to see him. I didn't want to scare him away so the shots are through a window that could really use a clean, but hopefully he'll stick around and maybe star again.
