Remembering Munich

The minute's silence in memory of those killed in the Munich air crash 60 years ago, notably the eight players and three club officials, was respected impeccably. All there was to hear was the noise of the Manchester rain falling on the roof of the stand. The game was poor: Huddersfield defending with 10 men and United showing little inspiration when it came to breaking through, Sanchez and Mata excepted. Huddersfield stopped trying once the goals went in, but there was still little effort to entertain from United.
