After two days of rain the allotment may not seem the obvious way to spend the morning. The ground was certainly not fit for digging, but there was still enough tidying to get on with.
Mr Fox came along to see what we were up to and stayed with Julie and I for the rest of the morning. He sat about 6 foot away, stretching his head up into the sun, enjoying the warmth on his coat. Not a bit of fear or timidness did he show as we chatted and cackled whilst catching up with each other.
Quite an amazing sight. Such a beautiful animal, although I did have a word with him about eating the few crops we manage to grow and suggested he eat a few more rabbits instead.
