Experiments in colour temperature

Originally I'd planned to make this blip a remake of a photo I took of this cathedral some 10 years ago. Back then, it was on Fuji Velvia and took 30s and a tripod. This time, it was handheld at 0"3 at ISO3200. Isn't technology marvellous? Anyway, it wasn't as an interesting shot, so it's confined to the hard drive for the moment.
The abbey is lit by two very different temperature lights making photographing the whole thing at night a pain. The front facade is lit by halogens with a high temperature, noticably in the blue. The side by filament lamps. Thus this was a quickly hashed together composite of two variations from the same RAW file, one at 3000k and one at 2100k.
I always loved the building and have spent a good many hours inside, but I've now been spoiled being able to walk to Bordeaux's cathedral on Place Pey Berland too often. The difference between them is staggering.
